The fall season is here and what better way to begin the festivities than by mixing up a drink to share with friends and family? We’ve thrown together some recipes from spiced to sweet that we know you’ll love!

Cranberry-Spice Cocktail

This colorful cocktail will spice up any autumn event!

Cranberry

Ingredients:

  • 1 orange wedge
  • 13 cranberries
  • 4 oz. orange liqueur
  • 1 oz. sweet vermouth
  • 4 oz. hard cider
  • Splash cranberry juice
  • Splash ginger ale

Preparation: Muddle an orange wedge and ten of the cranberries with a cocktail muddler (this works best if you throw in an ice cube or two with the ingredients).

Add the orange liquor, sweet vermouth, cranberry juice, ginger ale, and a few more ice cubes. Shake the mixture well in a cocktail shaker, then strain into an ice filled glass and top off with hard cider. Garnish with remaining cranberries – Serves 1.

Pumpkin Pie Martini

What’s better than a slice of pumpkin pie during the holiday season? A pumpkin pie martini! Share this delicious indulgent drink to really get into a festive mood.

Pumpkin

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz. cream liqueur
  • ½ oz. pumpkin liqueur
  • 2 oz. Absolut Vanilla-
  • 1 oz. canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp. whipped cream
  • 1 cinnamon stick for garnish

Preparation: In a cocktail shaker, shake together cream liqueur, pumpkin liqueur, vodka, and ice. Add pumpkin puree, and shake again. Strain into a glass, top with whipped cream, and garnish with cinnamon stick – Serves 1.

Pear and Rosemary Cocktail

This sweet and refreshing cocktail will awaken your taste buds with the flavors of rosemary and pear.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups pear vodka
  • 1 cup simple syrup
  • 12 sprigs fresh rosemary (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 ½ cups pear nectar
  • 4 cups sparkling water

Preparation: Muddle rosemary and ice with a cocktail muddler in a shaker. Add vodka, simple syrup, pear nectar and shake well. Strain into glass over ice and top with sparkling water – Serves 8.

Baileys Caramel Appletini

This rich and creamy blend will be sure to warm up any crisp fall evening.

Apple

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Baileys Caramel Irish Cream
  • ½ oz. green apple vodka
  • 1 slice apple
  • 1 tsp. whipped cream
  • 1 tsp. caramel sauce

Preparation: Combine Baileys Caramel Irish Cream, green apple flavored vodka and ice into a cocktail shaker and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with whipped cream, apple slice and caramel sauce – Serves 1.

Fun Non-Alcoholic Alternatives

There’s no reason why all of your guests shouldn’t be able to delight in a fun fall beverage. Here are some alcohol free alternatives everyone can enjoy.

The Mayflower

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. cranberry juice
  • 8 oz. sparkling red grape juice
  • 8 oz. lemon lime soda

Preparation:

Pour ingredients into pitcher and mix well. Pour into individual glasses over ice – Serves 3-4.

Apple Ginger Sparklers

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup Ginger Syrup
  • 4 ½ cups sparkling apple cider
  • 6 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 pieces crystallized ginger

Preparation: Fill 6 glasses with ice. Pour 2 Tbs. of ginger syrup over ice in each glass, then pour in cider and stir to combine. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and crystallized ginger.

Beverages in the Hot Tub

As the days begin to cool off for the autumn season, many of us will be using our hot tubs more frequently to warm up! If you decide to enjoy one of these yummy cocktails or mocktails in the tub, you’ll want to keep a few things in mind:

  1. Plastic glasses are far less likely to break and cause mishap.
  1. Hot water accelerates dehydration: if you’re consuming your delicious drinks in the spa, limit your alcohol consumption.
